Maaglei Nefesh, the Center for Mental Health, Community, and Halacha, is looking for a talented and passionate Executive Assistant to support the founder, Rav Yoni Rosensweig, in his important work.
You will work largely from home as part of a new and thriving nonprofit organization that is directly relieving suffering for 1000s of people with mental health challenges around the world.
Position
This is an hourly position requiring approximately 2 hours of work per day, with an optional additional 2 hours of work per day in basic financial administration, depending on your skill set.
What you will do
- Manage the founder’s weekly schedule
- Draft, review, and send communications on behalf of the founder
- Coordinate travel arrangements
- Prioritize, coordinate, and oversee the founder’s tasks
- Assist in the preparation of presentations for the board and fundraising materials for donors
- Optional additional responsibilities
- Manage our donor CRM, ensuring it is reconciled and up to date
- Reconcile income and expenses with relevant internal systems
- Manage receivables and payables
Requirements
- Fluent written and spoken English; high-level written and spoken Hebrew.
- Proven experience in executive assistance or similar.
- A natural affinity around technology, allowing you to be comfortable and efficient within Excel, Google Workspace, task management software, and our donor CRM.
- A passion to help the organization grow and succeed, driving you to be creative, independent, take initiative, work hard, and pursue excellence.
- Organized & detail-oriented, with excellent communication skills.

- A natural fluency in finance and numbers.
- Proven experience with accounting, bookkeeping or financial management.
